Food and Beverages: Coconut oil is used in the production of ice cream, confectionery, pastries, powdered milk drinks, smoothies, flavorings, dressings, candies, and gourmet dishes. It can be used as a substitute for other vegetable fats, such as cocoa butter and margarine. Its use is primarily in the food industry, as a raw material for making sweets, etc.
